Three ways to start

Most clients begin with a review, then move to a project or a retainer once we both know what we are dealing with.

1–2 weeks

Architecture review

A fixed-price read of your system before you commit to a direction. You get a written report: what is actually wrong, what to fix first, and what to leave alone.

Best when you suspect a problem but cannot name it yet, or you are about to make an expensive decision.

4–12 weeks

Fixed-scope project

A defined outcome with a defined price. An integration built, a pipeline rescued, a service migrated, a performance target hit.

Best when the problem is well understood and you want a known cost.

Monthly, rolling

Retained team

An agreed number of senior engineering days each month, working as part of your team — standups, your board, your review process.

Best when the work is ongoing and priorities shift faster than a scope document can keep up.

Pricing depends on scope, not on how large your company looks. Ask on the first call and you will get a real number, not a range with four zeroes of daylight in it.
